Description

Forge to Stars is a turn-based 4X grand strategy game. You begin on a single forgotten planet — an industrial society taking its first steps — and rise, era by era, until you reach for the throne of a shattered galactic empire.

It plays across two connected scales: a hex-based planet you develop and defend by hand, and a 3D galaxy of dozens of worlds where rival empires live their own lives — exploring, colonizing and going to war whether you are watching or not. Every world can be visited, fought over and claimed, hex by hex, on the ground and in orbit.

Features

A living galaxy. Rival empires explore, colonize, build and wage war on their own, turn after turn.
Real worlds, not menus. One 3D galaxy of dozens of planets — drop down to any of them and fight for it.
Command the battle. Turn-based tactical combat on the ground and in orbit, led through a deck of unit cards.
Every soldier is a citizen. Regiments are raised from your own population — a better crew makes a better unit, and every loss is a real person.
Tactics that matter. Facing, flanking, cover, overwatch, weather and morale on the ground; three stacked orbits and per-side armor in space.
Leader or tyrant. Decide the fate of prisoners and conquered cities — annex, sack, raze or vassalize — while AXIOM, your guiding AI, remembers every choice.
Five great powers. Five major factions with their own personality and agenda, plus a host of minor factions fighting for their place.
Grow through the eras. Take a single planet from its industrial age all the way to a spacefaring power.
A deep, living lore. Every faction, world and war is rooted in a written history waiting to be uncovered.
Twelve languages. Fully localized in twelve languages at launch.
